The Circus is in town!! Wow what fun! We got to see lots of fun and cool things! They had lions and tigers doing spectacular tricks. They had monkeys leaping everywhere....it made me wonder if we were at home! We saw beautiful dogs jump to enormus hights. We saw a cute little clown show with toy animals...he had a cute little elephant that wouldn't work-he broke it! To our suprise it was a little dog in an elephant costume! We saw elephants doing lots of awsome tricks. The elephants were my favorite! We were in awe of the lady in the moon. We saw 6 motorcycles in a small sphere.....they were loud!! We saw a man and two woman drive a motorcycle across a tight rope.We saw a man hold a woman between his legs by his neck from the air! They shot a man from a canon! We saw clown ticks. During intermission we had the clowns sign our book and take snap shots with. We got to see Deno.....he came to visit our preschool! We got cool lights to flash around....what fun! Grandma and Grandpa came with us as well. We had a GREAT time!
WOW! Where has the time gone! We went to Joshua's 6th grade track and field day at the football stadium. We got to see lots of our friends! We were able to see some of our old daycare pals! What a wonderful treat that was! We got to meet some new friends. The kids had a great time cheering the other kids on! We cheered really loud for EH kids. Grandma Sue went with us! What a fun time! We even got to stop for ice cream.
Jonathan's Track and Field Day was at Emerson Hough School around the track. We got to see lots of people we knew. We cheered for all our friends and some new ones we just met.Grandma Sue helped again, thank you! Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Ned came too. We were so good watching we got to play on the fort afterwards. Some of the kids were able to come play with us untill they had to go inside. We had a blast playing with our friends at Emerson Hough!
We love going to the Blank Park Zoo. The animals are wonderful! It is so nice to get away and stroll through the zoo. Watching the animals is always wonderfull! We get to see them eating, sleeping, and just being plain silly! We went with our good friends Missy and her kids who are part of our daycare family when Newton has school. We always have a good time with them! Thanks Missy!
We had the Seager Family Reunion this summer at Ashton Park outside Mingo, Iowa. We had a great time. We had 5 kids from our daycare family come with us. We walked the trails, blew bubbles, played in the rain.......and of course we ate lots of food!!!! YUMMMMMM! We had a great time! Our little daycare friend "M" was cuddled all day by everyone..... Grandma Sue showed us off to everyone!
WOW! Where did the summer of 2007 go? It seemed like I just blinked and it was over! Now that school is starting we went to the Emerson Hough open house. Kaylee, Jakob, Josh, Jonathan, brown hair H*****, and I all went to the EH open house. We snacked on all sorts of goodies! We had a great time talking to friends we knew and seeing old daycare friends! We went around to all the rooms and I got to meet all the teachers and everyone showed me where there seats were! I realized I couldn't sit long in a 1st grade desk.....just a little to big! Brown hair H***** showed me her book she was reading! Shawn went to school at EH.....so thats his old stomping ground. He was at home with the rest of the evening daycare kids and our own little munchians! We had a wonderful time!!!
We went to Sleepy Hallow on August 10th 2007. We had a good time. It was very hot...93, but it seemed like it was 100! We played 18 holes of miniture golf, we had our own little Tiger Woods in our bunch. We got to let off a little steam by playing on scooters. We had a great time in the bounce house and slide. I even took the plunge.....it was to fun to resist. The batting cage was comical! We had a few tears......but all was ok! I think Missy and I enjoyed it the most. Just a little competitive....but very fun!
We went to the Carnival Family Fun Night at the YMCA! We had a great time! We enjoyed a meal of hot dogs, chips and punch. We went downstairs and enjoyed an evening of fun carnival games. We even saw our good friend Deano the Clown. We found out Denis from the YMCA was a clown also! How neat was that!!! We got to see our daycare friend "J" who was in clown disguise! Missy and her family met us there....it's great to hang out with them. My older boys all had friends with them......always someone!! We even ran into some of our daycare friends there with their own families! Afterwards we all enjoyed an icecream treat at Dairy Queen! YUMMMMMMM!
Blank Park Zoo....what fun!! Everyone had a wonderful time. We saw so many wonderful animals. We even got ice cream....ymmmmm. The sloths were our favorites....did you know they only walk on the ground when they have to go to the bathroom. They don't go to the bathroom every day....wow! This was one of our recent weekend activities!
We went to the 4th grade pot-luck-picnic at Emerson Hough School. We ate inside because of the weather. We did go outside to play though.Evening kids get to go to school activities also. Everyone has fun!
In the evenings daycare children go to numerous activities like softball and baseball games.....even practices. We take treats along and have a ball watching. We play at the park also......what fun!! :-)
We had a busy day! My sister and I took the kids to Mitchellvillage Care Center for an Easter egg hunt. We had a "hopping" good time. Afterwards we stopped and had lunch at McDonald's in Colfax. Then we spent the rest of the afternoon at the YMCA playing in the pool and play gym. You can check out more pictures of that on the YMCA page. There isn't alot of pictures of the older kids because they split the ages up....so the older kids were not with me and my camera :-)
Happy Birthday America! What a wonderful day. We met my sister and her little girl up town to watch the 4th of July parade. Our Kaylee was in the parade with the Newton High School Cheerleaders. The kids got tons of candy....to much candy! We had tacos for dinner with some friends. We even had ice cream!!! YUMMMMMMMMM!
